FOLLOWING THE WAY
I'm
Josiane Phanord and I am 20 years old. I was born in Haiti on February 8th,
1985 in a small town named Guinaudee Jean-Rabel . We are seven in our family,
my father, my mother, my three sisters, one brother, and me. I met the Salesian Sisters about a year and a half ago and I loved what I saw when I visited the community. I was lucky enough to spend time in the Sisters' convent in Florida, for one week, and then I worked at the summer camp at Mary Help of Christians for five weeks. At the end of my experience, I had no doubt that I had found the congregation for me. I love everything about the Sisters: their prayer, their community living and of course their work with kids.
As I take my first step in my journey of becoming a sister, I pray that God will strengthen my decision and with the help of Mary, I will become one of her daughters.
